Beauty Balls

I am sharing this recipe from Tipper Lewis, Naturopathic Herbalist at Neal’s Yard Remedies.

I make these balls of yumminess to take to work as a perfect snack to munch on in between appointments with clients. They are packed full of antioxidant, skin-loving goodness and slow release energy. DSCN4369

Beauty Balls

Makes 20 small balls

1 cup Almonds, soaked overnight, dried and ground in a blender

4 teaspoons Chia Seeds

4 tablespoons Dessicated Coconut

4 tablespoons Cacao Powder, plus extra for dusting

4 tablespoons Goji Berries

10 Medjool Dates, pitted and chopped

1 teaspoon Organic Virgin Coconut Oil

Simply add all your ingredients to your food processor and blend until smooth and sticky.

Roll into any size balls you wish and dust with cacao powder.

They will keep in the fridge for 1 week.

*Victoria’s Top Tip: To ensure each ball is covered in the yummy cacao, roll one or two complete rounds so you have a stripe of cacao down the middle. Then turn your ball round so the bare side is at the top and again roll round to meet the other side. Your Beauty Ball should then be evenly dusted in cacao.
