I enjoy a smoothie of some sort on most days and one of my favourites for packing in the nutrients is my Superfood Green Smoothie. I use my Nutribullet but another blender or smoothie maker will also do the trick. Try it yourself and let me know how you get on on the facebook page.
This makes one large smoothie or two smaller ones for you and a friend!
1 handful spinach leaves
1 handful grapes
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon goji berries
1 teaspoon ground almonds (optional)
1 teaspoon lacuma powder (optional)
1 tablespoon NYR Organic Beauty Oil
200ml-300ml still water
Add each ingredient to your blender in the order listed above.
Blitz until smooth et voila! A tasty, creamy glass of goodness. Add a little more water if necessary to suit your preferred texture. As with all smoothies, drink within an hour of making for maximum nutritional benefit.
